FAQ’s

When attending your initial appointment please remember to bring the following:

  • Referral from your General Practitioner or Specialist.
  • Any recent scans or X-rays that will assist Dr Hsu or Dr Singh with your diagnosis and treatment.

You may wish to complete your Patient Registration securely online prior to your appointment. To assist in assessing your needs in a timely manner, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.

Online Patient Registration

This can be completed prior to your appointment and will generate a PDF attachment to your provided email and directly to the rooms.

Workcover Patients

Dr Hsu & Dr Singh are happy to see Workcover patients. Prior to making an appointment please ask your Case Manager to fax or email your approval letter.

Are my medical records kept private and confidential?

Your medical file is handled securely with the utmost respect for your privacy. Our staff are bound by strict confidentiality requirements as a condition of employment regarding your medical records. We will not release any contents of your medical file without your consent.

Do I need a referral to make an appointment?

Yes, you must have a referral to see either Dr Hsu or Dr Singh.

This is to ensure that you are appropriately referred for your condition and also because a referral allows you to receive the maximum Medicare rebate.

What should I expect during first visit?

After completing your registration form,Dr Hsu or Dr Singh will examine you, and review any X- rays or other test results that you have with you

Dr Hsu or Dr Singh will give you his opinion and any recommendations on your condition and together you will decide the best individual treatment plan. You will have the opportunity to ask many questions.

If an operation is needed, Dr Hsu or Dr Singh will explain the specific procedure, help you understand what it involves, and explain the risks and benefits to you. You will also meet with the Practice Nurse who will provide you with further information pre-operatively. Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like during this time. The Practice Nurse will also see you after your operation and you are free to contact him/her with any further questions or issues.

You will also be able to keep in contact with Dr Hsu or Dr Singh and the Practice Nurse through email or phone.
